Following delivery of their new trains, Transpennine Express will at last be able to release their class 350/4 fleet for a new life with London Northwestern Railway. The first ones arrived in November, and are already in use, with all ten trains (40 carriages) due by spring 2020.
Once they’re up and running, we’ll be able to provide an extra 7,000 seats on the Euston line every day. That’s 32 trains with an extra 230 seats each - as detailed in the tables below.
Although we were promised these additional trains by the end of February, for reasons beyond our control - but in the interests of the wider rail industry - we will have to wait a few more months to get our hands on them. In the meantime, it's worth avoiding the trains highlighted in red in the table below if you can, as they will be extremely crowded
