An RPSM ensures passengers have valid tickets, assists with customer inquiries, collects fares from those without tickets, and addresses fare evasion incidents professionally.
Revenue Protection & Security Managers have the authority to request passenger details if fare evasion is suspected and can issue penalty fares. They may also detain individuals under specific circumstances, such as failing to provide a name and address when required.
Our Revenue Protection Officers work varied shifts that allow for flexibility. These shifts can include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The flexibility in our shifts allows for a balanced life outside of work, giving you time to spend with family, friends, pursue personal interests or just unwind.
Having your own mode of transportation is advised as shifts can start as early as 5:30 am and can end after the final train has departed.
