We’re proud to have drivers who speak multiple languages, come from diverse cultures, and reflect the communities we serve. Train driving isn’t for one “type” of person, it’s for anyone with focus, commitment, and passion. If you’re ready to give your all to the role, we’d love your application.

What our Train Drivers say 🚆

"I started as a Trainee Driver in Oxford in 2014. After qualifying, I moved to London Northwestern Railway in 2016, where I’ve now been for nine years. During this time, I progressed to Driving Instructor and now proudly work as a Driver Manager.

What I’ve appreciated most is the opportunity to grow. I value the support and investment the company puts into its people, and being part of a strong community that shares the same values and commitment to safe, reliable service.

Every week brings rewarding experiences, from mentoring drivers as they develop to supporting passengers who need a hand. Making a difference, big or small, is the most rewarding part of my role.

Few careers offer the chance to make a real impact every day while enjoying the pride and fulfilment of being part of a professional, people-focused team."
