Hen & stag train travel tips
- Travel together: To ensure your group travel discount is valid, keep your wedding party together and board at the same LNR station for your trip.
- Use GroupSave for parties of 3-9: Travelling in a party of less than 10? You can still save on your train tickets by taking advantage of our GroupSave discount, which automatically applies 1/3 off your fares when you travel Off-peak.
- Keep one person in charge of your ticket: It’s best to have one person in charge of keeping your group travel ticket safe and presenting it to LNR staff when required, making your journey seamless and hassle-free.
- Pace the party: Although it’s tempting to get the party started the moment you step on board, make sure you respect other passengers on the train and save the celebrations until you arrive at your destination.
- Be responsible with alcohol: To ensure everyone on board has a comfortable journey, we sometimes restrict alcohol consumption on our trains and can turn you away if we think you’re already a little worse for wear.
