Score big and save money to top sporting venues when you travel by train.

Wherever you are in the UK, there is one thing you can be sure of – you’ll never be more than two metres from a sports fan! Whether they’re diehard footie fans, followers of cricket, or revel in a bit of rugby – sports lovers can be found everywhere.

We’ve all followed cars on the motorway with colourful scarves hanging out of the windows as foolhardy fans make their way to stadiums large and small. But travelling to your favourite sports destinations via car can quickly accumulate a large price tag – with petrol prices soaring and pesky parking fees catching you out.

However, what many people don’t realise is how many iconic venues can actually be reached by train. That is why we have pulled together our very own 'sports bible' to help you pay less and do more when it comes to travelling to the game.

Getting to the football by train

London

Lets kick things off with arguably the nation’s favourite game, football. Our national stadium Wembley is a straightforward journey from London Euston – alighting from the station the landmark Arch of Wembley Stadium is just a tube ride away.

What's also great, is that when you travel by train, you’ll also get access to 2FOR1 stadium tours to a variety of top stadiums.
