Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground

Land ahoy! The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Playground is the place for any little explorer. Not only does this seven-mile walkway winds its way through London’s royal parks, but it also features Captain Hook’s magnificent wooden pirate ship.

Got a little one under five? Did you know admission for them is completely free on a London riverboat service on the Thames? Alternatively, why not purchase a family ticket which allows admission for up to three children (five – 15 years of age) when paying for two adults?

Changing of the Guard

Attention! Stand in line troops as you can watch the changing of the Queen’s guard for free, right outside Buckingham Palace.
The Changing of the Guard is a formal ceremony where the group of soldiers who are protecting Buckingham Palace are replaced with a new group of soldiers. Nothing screams more patriotic than that!
Dressed in traditional red tunics and bearskin hats, feast your eyes (and ears) on this traditional spectacular.
London Transport Museum
