You voted, we listened. Rugeley is the winning location for our second LNR x Spudman pop-up, and TikTok legend Ben Newman will be handing out free jacket potatoes made by the Spud army themselves - all to celebrate our new Class 730 trains on the Trent Valley Line.
Set to take place on Saturday 22nd August 2026 at Rugeley Market Square from 10am - 3pm, we're also giving away FREE jacket potatoes made by the Spud army themselves!
Getting there by train
The pop-up event will be held at Rugeley Market Square from 10am - 3pm. Rugeley Market Square is approximately a 17 minute walk from Rugeley Trent Valley.
The best way to see our new trains? Ride one. Rugeley Trent Valley is now served by our Class 730s, running the length of the Trent Valley Line between London, Tamworth, Lichfield Trent Valley and Crewe.
Travelling from London Euston? The journey takes around 1 hour 35 minutes, with trains running every hour. Our Advance singles start from just £9 (£4.50 for children aged 5-15, kids under 5 travel free!).

Yes, the event is free to attend, no booking needed. Travel is not included.
Use our journey planner to find trains to Rugeley Trent Valley. Direct services run from London Euston, Crewe, Tamworth, and Lichfield City.
The event runs from 10am to 3pm. We expect a large crowd and spuds will be served on a first come, first served basis and may close the line before 3pm based on capacity. We recommend arriving at 10am to avoid disappointment.
The pop-up event will be held at Rugeley Market Square on 22nd August 2026 from 10am - 3pm.
