What's happened:
Due to HGV striking a bridge resulting in a partial bridge collapse between Nuneaton and Rugby, all lines are currently blocked.
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day, and will impact services until approximately 16:45 tomorrow, Friday 12 June.
What does this mean?
Trains running between Nuneaton and Rugby may be cancelled, delayed by 60+ minutes, or diverted via Birmingham
Our control team are working to amend the timetable and keep you on the move. We are working in the background to see how this will affect tomorrow, as services between Rugby and Crewe will likely be disrupted into the weekend.

What's the advice?
Tickets are valid at no additional cost on the following, until end of day Thursday 11 June:
- Avanti West Coast services between Crewe and London Euston via Birmingham New Street in both directions
- CrossCountry services between Nuneaton and Birmingham New Street in both directions
- CrossCountry services between Tamworth and Birmingham New Street in both directions
East Midlands Railway services between St Pancras International and Crewe via Derby in both directions.
Rail replacement is in place between:
- Stafford and Rugby
