Santa's Grotto At Centre:MK
Cheeky Nordic chef Ginger-Snaps will be cooking up a storm in preparation for the Elf Christmas Feast while visitors decorate their own gingerbread biscuits as part of this year’s Santa’s Grotto at centre:mk. The interactive 20-minute experience including a meeting with Santa Claus and a chance to demonstrate your yodelling skills in the kitchen as chef prepares a platter of Bah Hum-Bug Bangers. Two adults can accompany every paying child.
1940's Grotto at Bletchley Park
Meanwhile, Father Christmas will be bending space and time to appear simultaneously in a vintage 1940s grotto at Bletchley Park from December 2. Children can take part in festive crafts and listen to music before their exciting encounter with the man in the red suit.
A Victorian Christmas
Milton Keynes Museum turns back to the clock to the Victorian era for its Christmas festivities from November 30. A butler greets visitors with a tray of mulled wine and hot squash before you take part in Christmas crafts in the old schoolroom, play puff billiards, savour the aroma of freshly roasted chestnuts in the working blacksmith’s forge, and ultimately meet Santa Claus in his toy workshop.
Robin Hood at Milton Keynes Theatre
From December 8, EastEnders fan favourite Shane Richie takes the title role in the 3D family pantomime Robin Hood at Milton Keynes Theatre. Comedian Peter Piper plays for laughs as Friar Tuck and the incredible acrobatic troupe The Acromaniacs are guaranteed to run rings around the Sheriff as Nottingham as Robin’s very Merry Men.
