Join a journey to discover London's history through stories of money, trade and power. We will use the City as a theatre to talk about money: from Roman times to modern times.
There are two parts of the experience (1) How the City made its Money and (2) How the Money made its City.
Part 1 is storytelling in time: how London grew its trade from small businesses into a corporation that changed the world. We will visit a museum of Roman times, an exchange square, a coffee house and a former bank office of Victorian times.
Part 2 looks at the City's urban planning: how it drew inspirations from the world to deal with heritage, social responsibility, equality, and identity. We will visit a market, a rooftop garden, and an urban oasis. The experience ends at a street food market.
For families, kids can take on a special mission: 'Dragon Hunt in the City'! to spot the dragons during the journey.
The experience is designed for individuals, couples, families or groups. In two hours, we go through a journey of 2000 years, exploring answers to the question: what money can and can't do.
